Come dancing on the edge with me...let my passion set you free....

A wild and fun weekend was had by all!! Saturday night was the big Mardi Gras party with plenty of Creole food, music and dancing. As you can see, Salt was a Burbon St pimp and I was one of his "girls". Isn't it hard to believe a woman who has been on a diet since she was 12 years old, and pretty discouraged with the post "quit smoking weight" would choose to pad her butt (big pillow) and her bra (42DD with an entire roll of paper towels). After a look in the mirror, I realized that if I don't stop all this partying I may look like that for real. Let me tell you, that would lead me back to the cigarette pack!!! I did however have a lot of fun (and lots of laughs) shaking that "money maker" in the parade!!

Dave Kone, Kitty, Diane Kone and Salt...headed for the clubhouse!!

Redneck Bride and Groom....The grand prize winners....These guys are actually so cute without the fake teeth and makeup. Their costumes were a hoot!

The "umbrella" parade and competition. We didn't have time to decorate one this year but will definitely participate next year. Lots of artistic talent!
Salt and I decided to skip the "wine and cheese" party Sunday afternoon and opted for an afternoon at the pool. Resting up for the Super Bowl party, Sunday night. Go Giants!
While we were enjoying the 85 degree day at the pool, poor little Emma was helping her dad shovel snow off the air boat (this was a 2 day accumulation) so she could return to town for school tomorrow. We sure miss Emma, but NOT that snow!
We are going to forego bowling on Tuesday to have lunch with Martin and Eneka Zonnenberg
at their home in Mt Dora. I will probably post some pictures on Tuesday and then will not be posting again until we return from the Bahamas on Feb 15. Hopefully I will have some good ones from Salt's scuba diving experience.
