Hey, excuse me, but...I think you've got my chair...

Trying to ignore the cold spell that has kept us inside for a good part of last week we took on a few projects that we had put on the back burner. Salt set up an appointment to have the carpets shampooed and then took our old recliner and one of the sleeper sofas to Habitat for Humanity.
We purchased two new recliners and like the set up SO much better.....

We have broken all kinds of records for frigid temperature and the length of the cold spells. They are calling for "possible" snow flurries tomorrow night. One of the many reasons I love this resort.....everyone has such good senses of humor. This is our Maintenance Supervisor's idea of a Florida snowplow.

Tonight a bunch of us attended a roast beef dinner at one of the local churches. We are enjoying the small town atmosphere and activities Umatilla and the other nearby small towns offer.

We spent one evening doing some practice bowling and another evening went to see the movie Have You Heard About The Morgans...
Tomorrow, Salt and I will be serving at the monthly pancake breakfast held at the clubhouse.
Only two weeks until we leave for our cruise.....I SO hope it is warm by then!!
