Then it's Hi! Hi! Hey...The Army's on it's way.....

Three days behind on the blog.....Three busy days at OMS.

This is our oldest granddaughter (Sarah on right) heading back to Boot Camp in South Carolina.
Rachael (left) is our middle granddaughter. We are all very proud of Sarah....we never thought she would like and do so well in the army. She is determined to make a go of it and get an education through the military....Go Sarah!! We all love you!

Rachael, you are growing up so fast! Love the new glasses.

Friday bowling and Bingo..... Saturday, dinner at the clubhouse and then to a movie. We saw It's Complicated. What a funny movie....we need to see it again, as everyone in the theater was laughing so hard, we missed some of the lines.

Big crowd at dinner.....lots and lots of new faces!

Check out this dessert table.....see why it is so DAMN hard to keep the weight off. So far, so good, but not without suffering...LOL.

Our friends Wally and Linda, were servers (and as always with Wally...entertainers...he is quite the card!).

Two of my favorite gals....Blanche and Billie (sisters) are wonderful friends.

Sunday we headed out to the Markets of Marion with the Starchers and Muldoons. Stopped for Mexican food.
Today was Bob Hillis' 84th birthday. We have all adopted Bob as our "OMS Dad". Doug and Darlene (Rowe) entertained us at their home with a DELICIOUS birthday breakfast. Darlene helps Doug with the waffle batter before she turns the cooking over to him.......

And here is Bob...poor Bob we kid him all the time and he is such a good sport. It was freezing cold this morning so he layered. When he started stripping down, we told him we were going to put him on the Internet and tell everyone he was "stripping" for the girls. I think he may be getting used to our (mostly MY) weird sense of humor.

As you can see, everyone is paying no attention to the camera and is devouring the wonderful breakfast. Plant City strawberries our in season and are wonderful this year. Let's just pray this cold snap doesn't ruin it for us. Supposedly it is going down to 22 degrees tonight. Average temperature for this time of year is 72....go figure. Must be that "Global Warming"....right!!!!

Did some bookwork this afternoon and then off to Bingo tonight. Salt and I seem to be on a losing streak for the last two weeks. Must be saving all our luck for the casino on the cruise ship!!! I wish!
