Baby...it's cold outside!!

Well, due to the extremely cold weather, we have made some accomplishments in the bookkeeping area of our lives and have done a few things around the house that were put on the back burner. We have not however, been doing as much in the way of hikes, swimming and other outside activities we are usually buried in this time of year.

We had dinner with our friends Terry and Susie Muldoon on Tuesday evening. We tried a Chinese restaurant we have never tried before. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely go back.

Today we met with some of our friends from home (Grindstone Island, which is now actually our SUMMER home). Both the Marras (Yuvone and Phil) and the Luces live within a few miles of us both in the winter and summer. We had lunch at Stavros (after the Farmer's Market) and then came back to our house for coffee. We had such a good time with lots of reminiscing and laughing. We are definitely getting together with them again for some more fun and laughs!!

Salt and I had one of our favorite meals (which we split and still bring half home for dinner). This is one of the Calzones Stavros serves. We usually get the spinach and cheese but they made a mistake and gave us a ham and onion. Rather than make a big deal over the mistake we ate and enjoyed it almost as much as the spinach!!

Tomorrow bowling, tomorrow night dinner at the church, Saturday morning we work the pancake breakfast at the club, and Saturday night the Valentine's Day dance. No promises of warm weather yet but the forecast is at least back up in the mid 60's.
