Today was simply a driving day. We left Williams, Arizona on historic Route 66. We had planned to do a portion of the old road last year and never got a chance to. We didn't stay on it very long but found several quaint little shops and restaurants while we were on it.
There were several historic places and parks we would like to see but we vowed to get on our way. Emma keeps reminding of us the countdown until she gets to Myrtle Beach. It's coming faster than we can believe.
Drove 400 miles and pulled over in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Tomorrow we will lay over in Colorado and then go into Laramie early Monday morning.
