He aint heavy...he's my brother!

WELL, he might be a little heavy with all these clothes on!! My sister-in-law (Cheryl) sent this picture of my brother George....with the title "Why Salt doesn't winter in the North country anymore"! Salt started shivering just looking at the picture.

So today while we were out scouring the Renniger's antique and flea market I took the picture to remind George of what he is missing down here. Just think George, there are rows, and rows, and rows of this stuff....just calling your name. And......it was almost 80 today! Come on down!!!

Yesterday we took off with a bunch of friends to continue our quest to hike as many of the trails (in the area) as we can before leaving in April.

This was the Bourlay Historic Nature Park which had several trails....we weren't able to hike all of them yesterday but we did get part way down the exercise trail.

I'm always looking for Methodist churches. Check this one out......I have to do some research to see when they hold services????

Here are the pews which were made by one of the local boy scout troops. NOTE: The people resting are NOT scouts!!!

Here is the fitness trail with 9 exercise stations.....
And here is Karen doing "cooling down" exercises. This is before she actually did any exercising since we were walking the path backwards.....duh! This is the one of the perks of being senior citizens....people just expect this from you.....LOL

Uhhh Salt, I think you may want to use the higher bar!!

After a short rest we went to Karaoke at the Clubhouse. This is our friend Donna Russo, who did a mean version of "These Boots Are Made for Walking". Great job Donna, I didn't even know you could sing like that!
Tomorrow we are heading out early to pick up a new trailer Salt bought to haul the new car behind the motor home. We can't tow this one like we could the jeep, so it will be a whole new hook-up. It just so happens that the trailer dealership is VERY close to the Russell Stover factory outlet. We are planning a stop to stock up on goodies for the kids Easter Baskets. We will be in VA Beach with all the kids/grand kids so we will be able to do our big Easter Egg hunt this year. I wonder if that ole Easter Bunny will still hide that $100 egg he always used to hide????
