Mustang Sally....you better slow that Mustang down...

Salt and I like to support the little town we live in during the winter, so we journeyed, with a group of our friends to the Umatilla Car Show and Cub Scout Pine Box Derby.

I once owned this exact same car....really wish I still had it; especially in this shape!

There are some crazy collectors out there. This car was TOTALLY Yankee....seat covers, upholstery, etc.

This was a unique display....a traveling blacksmith. He actually set up in the park for demonstrations.

The good old Pine Box Derby....

Lots of cars with lots of clever ideas.......

It was interesting to check out the kids cars. It was very obvious which ones were done either mostly or totally by the child and the ones that you wonder if the child got a chance to work on it at all????

Now this would be one of my favorites since it is obvious the child did it himself. Then I always wonder if maybe these kids don't have a "daddy" to help them????
Then there is this one.....hmmmm great car but makes one wonder if the kid got to do any of it????

Here is another one obviously done by a child.....it was dedicated to a fallen soldier....get the hankie
