Oh Pine Tree State....Your woods, fields and hills....Your lakes, streams and rock bound coast. Will ever fill our hearts with thrills......

Here we are in Bar Harbor, ME and Acadia National Park.....one of the highlights of our trip!!
This is the view from our motor home....right on the ocean.

Just before we pulled in to the RV resort, we saw this Lobster Pound, so as soon as we were parked, we unhooked the car and headed out for lunch.

Here are the pots , ready for your pick...

We were told the lobsters were much cheaper if they came right off the boats and were cooked here at the pounds. Here was our pick.....

and here they are cooked and ready for chowing.....

After lunch we stopped at a farm stand for some fresh fruits and vegetables....The pumpkins in the patch were HUGE!!

We saw a beautiful raspberry patch and found out we could pick our own berries......

Salt looks almost as happy as when he had a grasp on that lobster...

We picked just enough for eating, and are going to go back today and pick enough for a batch of raspberry jam.....

We came back to the RV resort after a busy day and found this guy steaming lobsters right off his nephews boat......

So of course, we grabbed a couple for dinner and finished a wonderful day having lobster right at the motor home on the ocean.....it just can't get better than this can it??????
