An interesting visit to the Salem Witch Museum.....two things I did not know about the witch hunt of 1692....first, there was actually no one burned at a stake. They were hung and one man crushed. The other interesting and sad fact is that the whole thing was brought on by a couple of young girls playing a joke.....20 people died and several jailed for long periods of time.
A walk along the wharf.....like a watercolor.
The cobblestone and brick walks....Downtown is filled with gift shops full of all kinds of books on witchcraft, spells and history. Also lots and lots of witch "stuff"..........
Tomorrow, I am giving Salt the day off!! We are taking the train into Boston so he doesn't have to fight the traffic and can relax. Will be a busy couple of days, as Boston has so much to offer!!!
As I type I am watching "Ghost Hunters"....they are at the Most Haunted House in the US (decided by a contest they held). It is just a few miles from us on the St. Lawrence River (Isle of the Pines) which is a privately owned island. So cool.....lots of paranormal activity.
