Oh Mr. Fisherman, back from the sea....do you have a lobster you can sell me?

Last night we stayed in Portsmouth, NH, just 4 miles from Kittery. Our plan was to spend the day shopping. Our first stop was the Kittery Trading Post http://www.kitterytradingpost.com/ .

After our shopping trip we went into Kennebunkport and took a walk along the ocean. I love the Maine rocky coastline!

Beautiful homes along this coast.......

Such a beautiful day. Tomorrow we are doing some major hiking along the ocean paths in Onagoset.....

We had planned to take the trolley tour around Kennebunk, and mistakenly ended up at the Seashore Trolley Museum www.trolleymuseum.org . Although it was not in the plan, it turned out to be a very interesting, informative mistake. We both loved it!

This is the car we ended up taking a short ride on......

This was incredible. The building below was in Boston and was built totally of COPPER. Can you imagine what that would cost to build today????
We toured the entire museum and saw some of the coolest means of early city transportation.
This is one of the "fancier" cars.....

The internal workings of an electric car....of course Salt loved this one!

One of my favorite cars...a wooden engine.

And of course the "retired mailman" needed a picture in front of this one.

After we exhausted ourselves with touring, we went to the GPS to find a lobster pound. The Yodeling Clam is only a mile from our resort. The owner was a hoot....

Here they are.....
and "after".....YUMMMMM
