Yesterday was one of those days you just wish would never end. We started out with a trip to downtown Burlington and the square. Unfortunately we had to dodge the raindrops so there were not street musicians, mimes or magicians but we still love all the outside cafes, stores and the VERY eccentric people who roam the street.


We ended the evening with dinner at the Windjammer...(www.windjammerrestaurant.com) with one of my best friends from when we lived in VT, and her two daughters both of whom grew up with my kids. Salt told me to go ahead and have a night out with the girls, but knowing he would LOVE these 3 crazy women, I insisted he come along. Do you think he had any fun?
I saw this poster when we were on Church Street....This has GOT to be a riot! Wish we were going to be here for the fun.

We are staying in the "islands"...South Hero. www.appleislandresort.com ....we have been enjoying the fabulous apples grown here and will be stocking up tomorrow before we leave for Queeche, VT and our balloon ride over the gorge.
