Eggs, milk and flour....Pancake Power

Friday night we attended A Gift of Murder, a dinner theater put on by the Eustis High School Drama Class and Culinary Arts students. We try to support the local kids, and community activities whenever possible. The play was very well done, and the Culinary Arts kids did a great job with the dinner.
Ruth and Gene also attended. We love hanging out with these guys....they are as eager as we are to keep busy and experience all kinds of different activities. The four of us will be leaving on the 28th for a 3-4 week road trip. Final destination is South Padre Island (Texas). We plan to do a lot of sightseeing along the way.

The kids all came out and introduced themselves (in character) and even sat with us at dinner.

Saturday morning was our first "Pancake Breakfast" of the season. Salt and I both worked...Salt on juice and applesauce duty while I served pancakes. I love doing things like this, as I get to visit with a lot of the people I don't get a chance to see that often.
