Witches, pumpkin heads and black cats....Scary spooks and black bats....

Oh....and that cute little "Ladybug" would be none other than Rachael (granddaughter #2).

We were up at the crack of dawn (actually before).....ready to head for the big yard sale being held at the Baptist church in Umatilla. Lots and lots of "stuff". We picked up a palm for the yard and a few other odds and ends.

Went to Olive Garden for lunch with Gene and Ruth. Salt and I found a little restaurant in the Villages (Moe's Southwest Grill). They have this salad "Close Talk Salad" which we both loved. In our on going quest to stay healthy, I tried to duplicate it and we had it Saturday night before heading to "Trunk or Treat" with Terry, Susie, Gene and Ruth.

The entrance to the Trunk or Treat Trail. This is such a neat idea....many people decorate their trunks, truck beds or vans and serve treats from their vehicles instead of having the kids out on the streets.

Here are some of my favorites.....The Wizard of Oz characters....

Terry and his grandchildren...Garrett, who went as Michael Phelps, Walker, the Nerd and Lainie who was dressed as Belle.

Some very clever decorations.....
Sponge Bob

These kids were adorable.....they took their responsibility very seriously!!

Loved this little Cowgirl....

I think this may have been my favorite.....$ bills hanging from her ears, and a gold shovel attached to her belt.....she was a "Gold digger".....

There was a petting zoo.....this little guy is only 5 days old!

This cat looked so "alive".......

Oh yeah....a "Cheese Head"......

Twins......

And some amazing carvings!!
