It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.....

It's hard to believe, but here we are heading into the Christmas season. Yesterday morning a group of us gathered in the garage and started decorating the float which will be entered in the parade on Saturday morning. Here are some of the workers....

Here she is almost finished.....that rocking chair is for "ME"....who will be "Mama Bear". The theme of the parade this year is A Very Beary Christmas (picked by the town). Since Marguertite and her husband have a bear collection (they could truly be Mr. and Mrs. Santa) they were kind enough to haul them all the way from Michigan to help make it a most "special" float this year.

Later in the evening Ruth and Gene hosted a group of us for a dinner and fire.

Kathy, Leon, Ralph and Bob all dig in.....

Doug has finally decided to accept my "damn" camera. Darlene, always smiling is sporting a new hairdo. Looks great Darlene. Doug are you just being nice because you feel bad about picking on me about my "meatless pasta", Boca Burgers and Soy Dogs......

Bob is back and glad to be home with his Florida kids....(adopted of course).
Kathy and Leon are here for a couple of weeks. They will go home for the holidays and then in February they both retire and will be joining us full time....yeah!!
We will be missing bowling tomorrow, as we are having a new windshield put in the motor home. Of course, they won't give you an exact time.... A week ago we sat around for the whole day waiting and the guy never showed....hopefully this won't happen again. Oh well, I need to get a bunch of Christmas cards addressed and some bookwork done.
