School is out at last, and I'm so glad I passed......

Yes, Yes, Yes.....I am behind in my blog again. It is SO much easier to blog in FL or when we are traveling!! We are so busy here but with all the kids, by time I get them settled in for the night I am exhausted and way too tired to even think about the computer.

I flew out to VA Beach to attend our oldest granddaughter's (Sarah) graduation. I was there a few days ahead so had plenty of time to shop and cook for the party. Betty, Emma and Salt drove out the day before graduation and back on the following Sunday.

Here is Sarah with a bunch of her friends.....what a bevy of beauties!!

The party, of course went in to the late evening....here are a couple of the boys digging through the magazines to find the songs they wanted to sing for karaoke.

The little girls had fun also....here they are on the trampoline and when not on that they were in the pool in Mike and Rob's back yard.

Dan and Carla doing a little June Carter/Johnny Cash (not the teenagers' favorite....LOL.

Katie, Rachael and Emma in the hotel pool.

And the hot tub.....
Our hotel (I stayed with rob and Mike until the rest of the family came in) was
right on the beach. There was an art show on the boardwalk that weekend.
Our hotel....

View from our hotel balcony.....

Dave and Salt contemplating the menu....

Grandma and Pop took the family and one of Sarah's friends to lunch (Cheesecake Factory) after graduation. Robin and Mike sit back and relax after it was all over.....

Sarah and her friend Cory....We are waiting for pictures of her in her gown and cap. It was 93 that day and 100% humidity so she was tearing her gown off as soon as she was out of the auditorium!!!

Poppy and Emma at breakfast on the beach.....was such a great family weekend!

Betty and Emma leaving for the graduation......

Emma with the new dress Grandma and Pop bought her....She is such a Fashonista....

All quiet on the beach the morning we left......

Salt and Betty brought Rachael home with them on Sunday and I flew home on Monday. Rachael will be staying until her parents come out for 4th of July week. She had planned to stay the summer but made the cheering squad and can not miss practice all summer. A time in her life when she must make decisions. I think cheering is a wise one as it goes all winter and will keep her active with all of her friends. She has a competition in Myrtle Beach the weekend of the 27th of February. Since the 28th is Salt's birthday, we have decided we will drive out for the competition and meet the kids there so we can watch Rachael and celebrate Salt's birthday with the family.
