Being here at Christmas is a dream come true....The decorations are amazing. .... especially the hotels.
This is the needle which was erected for the 1968 World Fair, and houses a revolving restaurant . The camera couldn't do it justice, but it was all red and green lights.
And here is one of the tour boats coming down the river along the river walk. The lights on the river walk were beautiful......
On the weekends, they light the entire walk with luminaries (candles set in sand inside of white bags).
This statue of St Antonio (St. Anthony) adorns the sidewalk along the river. The river was named for St Antonio, who was known as the patron of little children and lost items. I chuckled, when the guide told us this, as when we were kids in Catholic school, they taught us the prayer...."Dear St. Anthony, please come around....something is lost and it must be found". I still say it to this day....it works!!!
