Save a horse....ride a cowboy..

How could I resist this song title??? Ruthie and I found us a couple of "cowboys"...uh huh...

These two guys are worse than kids when it comes to shopping in Mexico!!

No, we are not totally crazy for going back to Mexico today. We knew after the shootout yesterday, they would have it so secure it would probably be the safest it has been in a long time. There were soldiers and policemen ALL over the town.
We "shopped" up and down both sides of the main street.

The Mexicans love their music.....this duo was in a bar, inside a store....You can't help but tap your feet and shake your booty!!

This was the scene of the conflict yesterday.....someone put candles and a cross on the scene.

Crushed posts where a car hit....vendors stands in shambles and bullet holes through the windows......

We stopped at a market on the way home to pick up some grapefruit....this band was playing and the crowd was doing a lively two-step.

This was the entertainer in a lovely Italian restaurant (Marcello's) in Port Isabel.

Gene and Ruth trying which of the tasty entrees to order......

The Port Isabel lighthouse decorated for Christmas......

The weather has turned and it is warm and beautiful here. Tomorrow a trip to Brownville and then some beach time......
